Yet another bit of news to enrage and sadden those of us that voted for Obama, hoping for change, and praying that we would not be let down. He seemed so sincere!
Well it looks like we get more of the same Bush tactics when it comes to denying the world access to the truth. The Obama administration is not only allowing those that tortured under Bush to use the Nuremberg defense, but he has re-applied the state's secrets act to a lawsuit that threatens to expose the wrongdoings of the previous administration. This makes his campaign promise A BIG LIE.
Bravo, Obama! Thanks for failing us again...

He has been in office...what....twenty or so odd days.
Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm not saying he is perfect. There is a ton to criticize, but I don't believe we can demand all fixes right away.
I'm holding out to see what he can accomplish or ruin in a year. A year should give us a better picture of what he is made.
I agree with Dee. Give the guy a chance will ya?
But, for the record, I am ALL ABOUT opening up Bush's record and exposing him (dare I say punishing him) for the lies, cover-ups, torture and wrong doing he perpetrated whilst in office. So help me god.
C'mon Obama. Crack down on that shit. You have the support of the people. And, by people, I mean me!
These are examples of Obama going against campaign promises. I never expected him to fix everything, but I was hoping his decisions would match his rhetoric. It turns out that he is making decisions that are completely contrary to his promises. If we keep giving him a pass then he will just keep behaving like Bush.
